Shhh
Solitude
night whispers poetry
The sea is ever calm
I ask myself “when will you understand…
Is there nothing I can know
…And night says,
“Ah the weightlessness of burning embers
Be ever aware…
Mind is ground
Thought is rain
Sun is consciousness
Nothing is everything…”
2.
Sirens singing:
“The ground calls your name
The sky is opening
Love peers into the pool of you heart
Waiting, waiting, waiting”
And night says, “you keep yourself searching
So much you don’t see
You want intelligence
You want divinity
You want truth
Your want to be free
But you are nothing and everything…”
1.
And so… hear we are my friend
Me with this shouting you with your silent refrain
It is here that I wonder if silence like canvas
Is underneath the cries and whispers that poetry became
And maybe if nothing is everything
2.
I walk upon the sand
as of each grain is a world to me
I step onto the black glass
of night’s broken sea
look to the moon as my heart screams
When will I know
When will I see
I want to know you within me…
1.
And so hear we are again
Maybe the circle is really spiraling
Each time I notice the silence like a canvas
is underneath the cries and whispers that poetry became
And really how nothing is everything
2.
Conceptualize a stone
Is that not what you are
Conceptualize the sea
Why would that not be the vastness of our possibility?
